The Andromeda is one of our best-selling lures, responsible for many tournament wins and thousand pound fish. If you're only able to pull one lure for big marlin, this is the one. Easy to run, with great rough-water performance and hi-speed capability, the Andromeda gives off a huge POP and then submerges in a long, deep cycle with an awesome bubble-trail. It has a terrific "hook-up/catch" reputation and is the ideal bait to run behind your bridge teaser. The term "Big Hole, Bent Pole" could have been coined for this lure. The Andromeda 60 is approximately 14" in length and weighs 8.5 ozs. It is best suited to 130lb and 80lb tackle, although it can be run on adequately prepared 50lb class tackle. It is easy to retrieve as a teaser. The Andromeda has been primarily run over the years as a long corner lure by many crews, but it is a tremendously stable and effective short corner lure too, and in really big fish territory it also makes an outstanding short rigger lure.
