The Enki is a long selling favorite from our range, being one of the very first lures we made some 25 years ago. Although it was initially designed as a small weighted rigger-bait, able to cope with the demands of the heavy leaders used in the Atlantic blue marlin fishery, it has since evolved through different sizes and weights to a point today where we can offer this noisy splash-bait in a variety of configurations to meet almost any big-game situation. The version pictured here has remained as successful as ever though, and with it anglers and crews can find all of the attributes that has made it such a success for so many anglers and crews worldwide.
With a double-tapered short head, the Enki is an active splash bait that can get down and boogie some of the time when run in its sweet spot. Keel-weighted to help it track correctly, and carefully skirted for optimum performance, the Enki will chug and bubble in almost any sea condition except for the very roughest of seas. The Enki 60 is a great short-bait on each corner, and will also work well on the long rigger in calm to moderate conditions. In calm conditions it makes a superb short-rigger lure. In its smaller sizes the Enki makes a very effective long-rigger bait too, and in this position it has a great reputation for catching big tuna.
